Ordinary Appendix n. 108/L
Thanks to the law 123/2007 that reorganizes the regulations in matter of protection of the health and the security on the working places, after the sign of the President of the Republic Giorgio Napolitano, is published the Legislative Decree n. 81 del 09 April 2008.
This decree substitutes the law 626/94.
The 81 therefore will be remembered from now on as the number that will be occupied with the security at work in the same mode in which was referred to '626' like the law for security at work
The principal titles of measures regarding working environments, the equipments and the DPI /Individual Protection Devices/, the physical agents (noise, mechanical vibrations, electromagnetic fields, optical radiations, etc.), the dangerous substance (chemical agents, carcinogenic substances, etc.), the biological agents and explosive atmosphere, the system of signs, the video terminals.

It is the fundamental law on which is based the industrial medicine and the security of working places and in particular prescribes measures for protection of the health and for the security of workers during work, in all sectors of private or public activity.

Implementation of the directives 2003/10/CE relative to exposure of workers to risks coming from physical agents (noise).
Regulations that regulate the verifications, the measures of protection, the obligations expected for all the professional figures of the industrial medicine (employers, managers, persons in charge, workers, competent doctor) in working environments in which there is exposure to harmful physical agents with particular reference to the noise.

ACCIDENTS AT WORK –THE RESPONSIBLE SUBJECTSIN THE LAW 626/94
The law 626 / 1994 provides in accurate mode a chain in the security of working environments in which every ring, represented by an element of the company from the employer to the worker itself, have their obligations, tasks and duties.
This documents permits to identify the responsible subjects in the security of work in the working environments indicating the respective tasks to perform.
THE SANITARY SURVEILLANCE OF THE WORKERS: OBLIGATIONS FOR THE COMPANY.
The sanitary surveillance represents one of the general measures of guardianship for the protection of the health of the workers exposed to professional risks able to determine the beginning of the harmful effects.

Scheme of agreement by meanings of article 8, comma 6, from law 5 June 2003, n. 131, in matter of ascertainment the absence of drug addiction.
The scheme of agreement, published on 30 October 2007, establishes which are the functions and the duties that involve risks for the own security, safety and health and of third persons, also in reference to occasional assumption of narcotic substances for which is requested periodical exams of the worker in order to ascertain the absence of usage of narcotic substances (drug addicts) and the abuse of alcohol or alcoholic substances in general (alcoholics).
